At the Pet Health Clinic, we are dedicated to providing the best quality services for you and your pets. We pride ourselves on our quality of medicine, and are constantly furthering our education to stay on the cutting edge of veterinary medicine.
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: We offer in-house bloodwork, and have a reference lab for comprehensive testing. We monitor and treat chronic disease and offer chemotherapy treatment.
Surgical Services: Our surgical suite allows us to perform a variety of surgical procedures. We perform routine surgeries, such as spays and neuters, daily. Out-patient surgeries include biopsies and lumpectomies. More complex surgeries such as abdominal exploratory or orthopedics require hospitalization. If we are not able to provide the surgery your pet needs, we can refer you to a spectialty hospital that has the experience to provide the best care possible.
Anesthesia: We use an endotracheal tube and isoflourane for the safest anesthisa. We monitor the patient's vital signs: respiration, heart rate and EKG tracing and temperature during anesthesia.
Radiology Services: We have on-site radiography services and access to a specialist for x-ray consultation.
Electrocardiography Services: We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.
Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
Pharmacy: We stock many medications specifically for pets so they are available when you need them. We also employ a compounding pharmacy to formulate medication for even the smallest dog or cat. We also have vitamins, shampoos and flea/tick preventatives.
Dentistry: Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and oral surgery.
Individualized Flea Control Programs: We will help you find the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.
Dietary Counseling: We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
Behavioral Counseling: We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.
Reproduction: We provide a number of services if you are planning on breeding your pet. We do pre-breeding examinations, semen collection and shipping and artificial insemination. Additionally, we can assist in whelping, and, if needed, perform a scheduled or emergency c-section.
Boarding: We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Friday.
Bathing: Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available.
